The audit process is heading to major disruption. This workshop, directed by the world leading research institution in accounting information systems (AIS), does an introductory survey of emerging methodologies that can serve both managers and auditors to understand and plan individual and corporate preparation for this change.

Topics of the talk include: Big data and Internet of things, Audit Procedures and analytic usage, Full population testing (MADS), Audit Automation (RPA, IPA), Text Mining, Process Mining, Incorporating Exogenous Data to Audit (social media, weather, etc), AI and Machine Learning Applications in Audit and Imagineering the new audit. Participants will be directed to sources and videos to continue their education on these subjects.

Professor Miklos A. Vasarhelyi , has been chosen AAA Professor of the Year, ISACA’s Wasserman Award, AICPA Educator of the Year and has over 200 articles published, 21 books, and chaired over 45 dissertations. He has also ran executive programs for several large organizations such as J&J, AT&T, KPMG, etc in many countries. He has been senior visiting scholar at the SEC and works regularly with several accounting and audit regulators.
